【簡　　介】

故事就從蘇菲亞和未婚夫維特的婚前蜜月旅行說起，在雜誌社擔任真相調查員的蘇菲，夢想能晉升為記者，而維特正在為即將開幕的餐廳做準備，兩人決定在婚前前往莎翁筆下羅密歐與茱麗葉的故鄉──義大利維洛納度假，然而到了義大利後，蜜月旅行成了維特的食材之旅，兩人便分開在義大利觀光。某天，蘇菲隻身前往茱麗葉的故居參觀，有很多來自世界各地的女人，都來到這裡寫信給茱麗葉傾訴各式各樣的問題，在人群中蘇菲發現了收集這些信件的女人，收取信件的舉動引起了蘇菲的好奇，也讓她發現了一群自稱為「茱麗葉秘書」的女性志工，專門以茱麗葉的名義，回覆這一封封寫給茱麗葉的信。一天，陪伴志工收集信件時，蘇菲在石縫中發現了一封50年前，由克蕾兒所書寫的信，那時的她在正值情竇初開的15歲少女時期，愛上了一位義大利青年羅倫佐，卻因父母反對而無法相守。蘇菲深受這封信打動，決定親自回覆了這封信

令人意外的，克蕾兒真的收到了這封回信並和孫子查理回到了義大利，也一同帶著蘇菲在托斯卡尼四處尋訪找回舊日的真愛，而蘇菲也在旅程中，寫下另一段真愛故事。
